 Sunday Services

Every Sunday 10.15 am.  Our worship services are a blend of the traditional and contemporary.  We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ each week with communion.  Most Sundays we have a break midway in the service for a cuppa and fellowship.  Four or five times a year we have a fellowship lunch together.

Children's Church

Our Children's Church program is currently in recess, however each Sunday Service contains a 'Children's talk' and worksheets for primary school aged children are provided in the back corner.  Toys are provided for younger children.

Prayer Times

Corporate prayer is an essential part of our life as a church.  There is a prayer time held at 9 am before the Sunday service.  Another time of prayer is held at the church at 9 am on Monday mornings.

Worship is not just a Sunday activity; we want everything we do during the week to be an act of worship to the God we adore. However, there are specific times during the week when we worship together.

YOU are welcome to join us.

Mid-Week Worship

Every three weeks we facilitate a Wednesday morning (11am) Worship service at either West Park (on Moore Street) and Sandpiper (on Washington Street). This abbreviated worship services include Hymns, Prayers, a short message and Holy Communion.  You are most welcome to come along and join the residents.  The first worship services for 2010 will be:

West Park - Wednesday January 27th 2010 from 11am (then every 6 weeks)

Sandpiper - Wednesday February 17th 2010 from 11am (then every 6 weeks)

Home Groups

There are a number of small groups operating in homes at various times of the week.  These give opportunity for sharing, caring, praying for each other and Bible study.

Reel Dialogue - Movie Nights
This is an activity which encompasses worship and social activity.  On the last Friday of each month, those with an interest in TV and Film gather to watch a DVD and then over a cuppa and some 'movie style' supper, discuss the film and how it informed, shaped, challenged your faith.  This event is very casual - and all are very welcome.

Meditation and Reflection

In a world which never seems to stop - it is good to take time on occasion and just wait upon the Lord.  During the year, short programs of mediative and reflection worship will be offered for those who like to listen for the still small voice of God.  Using candles, scripture, prayer and reflective music, these spaces are offered for the individual to worship God in their own way.
